To support our exceptional teams that develop great medical technology products and contribute to our growth, we are looking for a Tool & Plastic Part Engineer (a) in Flex Hägglingen AG.

In the role of Tool & Plastic Part Engineer (a) you will report to the Tool & Plastic Part Manager and join a team of talented and innovative engineers.

Tool & Plastic Part Engineer 100% (a)

What a typical day looks like:

Injection mold project management

  • Project management of new molds
  • Specification of new molds
  • Creation of tool concepts
  • Optimization of existing injection moulds
  • Supervision of tool revisions
  • Creating and maintaining operating documents
  • Carrying out filling simulations (Sigmasoft)
  • Training and supervising apprentices (EFZ design engineer and trainees)

Designing with CAD Siemens NX

  • Designing operating equipment and assembly devices
  • Designing and constructing grippers
  • Designing minor tool modifications or optimizations
  • Creating and maintaining company standards

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • Completed education in the technical field, e.g. as a design engineer, polymechanic or plastics technologist (university of applied sciences, higher technical college, completed apprenticeship and education)
  • Experience in injection mold design in the medical technology industry
  • Ideally experience with CAD Siemens NX in a manufacturing environment and car driving license
  • Good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
